Tyron Woodley and Kelvin Gastelum
UFC 183 headlining middleweights Nick Diaz and Anderson Silva made it out of their fight with the worst injuries being some cuts on the face of Diaz. Both men received small medical suspensions as a result of their fight.
The Nevada State Athletic Commission, which regulated the event, today released the official medical suspensions arising from Saturday’s event, which took place at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena and aired live on pay-per-view, FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.
MMAjunkie obtained the medical suspensions through a records request with the commission.
In all, 14 of the fight card’s 22 competitors received suspensions from the NSAC. Five received six-month terms pending medical clearance, including main-card welterweight Tyron Woodley, who needs clearance for his right foot following a decision win over Kelvin Gastelum, who was suspended for 45 days.
